Description: DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION Up for sale is a metal plaque that I think was on a wall of an office or station for the Armed Forces Assistance to Korea. The Armed Forces Assistance to Korea was a very successful program of assistance and reconstruction following the cessation of fighting in 1953. The AFAK ran from 1954-1970. I purchased this from a retired Colonel's estate sale so I do not know very much about the item. It measures 13" by 9 1/8" and is about weighs about 4 lbs and 12 oz.There is a name painted on the back. There is some wear and oxidation and staining. Please review the photographs and email me if you have any questions or want additional photographs. I mainly sell used older items including antiques, collectibles and oddities so please expect some signs of wear from use.
