Description: A classic comp of Arizona Garage music by two of the best bands of the time: P-NUT BUTTER and THE VIBRATOS. This CD is titled "Battle of Bands" loaded with 20 tracks by The Vibratos and 14 tracks by P-Nut Butter. Both bands played at The VIP Club in Phoenix circa 1964/65. P-Nut Butter recorded many records for Mascot Records and The Vibratos only made one super record for the Project Spector label, but both groups were big influences on so many bands here at the time. All tracks mastered from the original tapes when available. All songs were originally recorded at Audio Recorders of Arizona for ultra hi-fidelity. As a special bonus, The Vibratos are featured in a groovy live 5 song Beatles set, recorded at The VIP club in August of 1964, also a Groovy KRUX VIP radio ad. Full notes and lots of pictures.
