Up For Sale is an Argus C-3 1940-41 Vintage 10 Shutter Speeds Uncoated Lens + Case - Needs TLC Condition: Good - Overall Appearance: Good, no signs of impact damage, no apparent broken or missing parts. Leatherette on front has some bumps underneath, which suggests exposure to moisture. - Shutter: Fires at all speeds, seems a bit sluggish. "B" setting is sticky. Features 10 shutter speeds, which was reduced to 7 speeds a couple of years later. - Film Advance: Needs maintenance, sprocket wheel is fairly stiff, wants to skip holes or tear film. Needs some oil. - Viewfinder: Good- Focus: Stiff, as it is on most vintage Argus cameras. It does move. Rangefinder looks clean and is working. - Lens: UNCOATED 50mm f/3.5 Cintar with internal haze, enough to matter. f/stop sequence is on the half-stop series, 3.5, 4.5, 6.3, 9, 12.7, 18. - Additional: Unpainted shutter cocking lever is an indicator that this camera was made between 1940 and 1941.
