Description: Arcam FMJ AV8 Preamp Processor Multi Channel THX w/Remote For sale, we have a one owner Arcam FMJ AV8 Preamp processor. The preamp has been fully tested, and it is in excellent working condition. Physically the unit is in excellent condition, with only minor blemishes. The AV8 comes with the power cord and remote. These remotes came with a rubberized coating, that became tacky with age. To remedy this, we stripped the coating using isopropyl alcohol. While there are a few hairline cracks and some discoloration of the plastic, all the lettering is fully intact, and the remote is in perfect working order. The AV8 was paired with an Arcam FMJ P7 Multichannel Power Amplifier. We have this beautiful 7 channel amp up for sale separately in another listing. We had this system running for about a week in our shop using the Dali Helicon Speakers that were part of the system. Just a really sweet setup. We don't have the original box for this unit, but we take packaging and shipping seriously. We spare no expense and use heavy duty boxes, several inches of polyethylene foam on all sides of the unit, and use water activated, fiber reinforced tape on all seams.
