Here we have a beautiful early MCM model hand painted porcelain GRAVY BOAT with an attached oval Underplate designed by Olga Osol for ARABIA of Wartsila, Finland in the "Crownband" pattern - displaying an upper pale yellow band with semi-circular/scalloped dark line designs in between two light blue-gray bands, thin brown accent line on top and bottom rim, pale gray background. It measures approx. 5" high x 8-1/2" long x 5" wide, can hold up to 16 ounces/2 cups...to the brim. It is in very good maintained (barely/hardly used) condition with no chips or cracks or crazing, no damage noted...appearing to have had little or no use. The bottom is marked, "CROWNBAND ~ ARABIA ~ MADE IN FINLAND ~ HANDPAINTED ~ El." Came from a well cared for private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, pattern discontinued, production run from 1955-1970. This item weighs approx. 1 lb., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material. I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
