Description: Made in Montreal by Aquascutum of London (see CA00229 on dry-clean-only label—that is the mfr’s ID# of Aquascutum Canada): 2-button 48 REG Dark Gray Suit w/ subtle rust double-track stripes, INCLUDES COAT & TROUSERS. No size label but measurements indicate 48R. See all yardstick photos. Subtle stripe in a wonderful smooth & drapey wool fabric. PICS SHOWING DARKER GRAY ARE CLOSER TO REAL SHADE OF SUIT, SO THE OPENING PIC (POSTED TO SHOW COAT + PANTS TOGETHER) MAKES THE SUIT LOOK LIGHTER THAN IT REALLY IT. IT'S PRETTY DARK, A VERY SOBER AND SERIOUS SUIT. COAT (has no issues) Center vented, fully lined with quality black rayon, lining intact and attached. It has a bunch of cool inner pockets, including a slim pen pocket in left chest, and on each side lower down a "cigarette" pocket (most suits only have one, if any), one of which is lined w/ a velveteen fabric, like it's for glasses. Pretty neat. See ruler pics for measurements and also note: 21.25" across yoke (upper back) 31.5" down vertical centerline of back from base of collar 25.25” down sleeves from shoulder seam 3 5/8" wide lapels TROUSERS FLAWS ARE THE SMALL HOLES IN UPPER REAR PART OF LEFT LEG, AND THE MISSING BUTTON ON THE BACK LEFT POCKET. SEE PEN PICS. THERE ARE 2 HOLES BUT I HAVE PROVIDED MORE THAN 2 PICS TO GIVE BEST VIEW. THE HOLES ARE ON THE OUTSIDE REAR QUADRANT OF THE LEFT TROUSER LEG, THE FIRST BEING ABOUT 5" BELOW THE LIP OF THE LEFT REAR POCKET (W/ THE MISSING BUTTON), AND THE 2ND HOLE A BIT OUTSIDE OF THAT AND 6" OR SO LOWER. NOTE CAREFULLY!! PRICE OF SUIT IS LOWER TO REFLECT THESE FLAWS. Double reverse pleats, half-lined to knees in front, turn-up cuffs, belt loops AND suspender buttons. For waist, inseam, rise, and leg opening dimensions, see ruler pics. The rise is a bit higher for a regular at 14", but suit trousers such as these are cut to be worn high, at the natural waist, not the hips (they aren't blue jeans).
