Joshua Middleton's signature is hard to obtain as he does not do many conventions and charges $25 for each CGC signature at the time (probably way more today). I have been a collector for over 40 years and know my grading and submit regularly to CGC. As a matter of fact, I sell mainly the CGC books so there is no debate about grading. Might have one tiny color flake, or other very minor blemish. VF/NM, Very Fine to Near Mint=Nearly perfect, but when you look close, there is a tiny flaw or two that keep it from near mint.VF, Very Fine=Almost Like New with just a couple of tiny, barely noticeable flaws. One or two small color flakes along the spine are acceptable, but no folds or tears.
