Description: Appleton VU 200 explosion proof light fixture and connection block. This listing is for one light but there are more identical lights available and you can purchase additional ones here for as long as they last. 10-1/2 inches tall overall. 6 inches diameter. The bottom of the light base has a 3-1/4" diameter threaded fitting. I purchased these at the auction of a local business that had gone out of business. They were boxed among other supplies in the storage racks. Each comes with an Appleton Electric Co. CAT #VPT7 connection block. According to the Appleton Co., the VPT7 connection block "is uniquely designed for incandescent luminaries. Connection block is highly efficient and is used with threaded metal conduit. It is ideal for use in wet locations. Connection block is rated at 50-400 watts." These lights appear to be in very good condition. Most items i list are from local estates and usually they are in areas of collecting that I have little or no knowledge of.
