Description: Apple A1009 Xserve RAID in excellent condition! This unit was fully tested and everything functions. Most of the drives in this unit were failing so it's being sold with NO DRIVES! Buyer will have to supply (14) IDE hard drives, SATA drives are not compatible. Unit ships with 2 power cords, 2 fibre channel cables, and a fibre channel card as well as all the screws needed to install your own hard drives. The Fibre Channel card was installed in an Xserve 2,1 and was tested with this RAID unit in a 2008 Mac Pro 3,1. The card requires a PCIe x4 slot and will not work in an x16 slot. Please note - this is a 20 year old piece of equipment. It was tested for full functionality before listing, however given its age, there is no guarantee it will continue to work for any period of time. That said, unit is being sold as-is with no warranty. Absolutely no returns accepted under any circumstances. Please ask all questions/check compatibility before purchasing.
