I test every disk I send out, so your vintage Mac should boot without a problem provided that all your hardware is operational. If your Mac has a flashing question mark and a boot disk still doesn't start up your machine, or you get a "sad Mac" icon, then it is possible that your aging Mac is also experiencing a hardware failure; common among these 20+ year old computers.
