Description: I made up a couple of these cards for myself and the GitHub project is excellent. Notice the 2 photos showing the output on a VGA monitor from my Apple iie. Should work with Apple II, II+ or IIe. Even supports double Hi-res mode on the Apple iie. The pcb has a gold ENIG finish. If you know how to solder, you can build one of these very quickly and inexpensively and have great looking graphics from your Apple II. Just uses a handful of parts: resistors, 3 ic's, a few capacitors, VGA socket. The Pi Pico Microcontroller board is already included. All the software is on GitHub and is just drag and drop onto the Pico board. Again, this is just the PCB and Pi Pico only. To see details of how to build go to https://github.com/Retrotink/Apple-II-VGA. The website is also listed on the PCB. No modifications to your Apple are needed. Just plug into the socket and turn on your computer. You can even use your old Composite video output at the same time but why look at a blurry screen ever again? For the most up to date firmware visit Mark Aikens github page here: https://github.com/markadev/AppleII-VGA/releases. That link includes an awesome VGA utility that allows you to save graphics modes in flash memory and load custom fonts without using Poke statements. I also sell completely built and programmed boards in my eBay store.
