Description: Note that the distributions included on the flash drive are meant to be used when booted from the flash drive and there is no installation software included for Microsoft Windows or any other operating system. When a computer system is infected with any kind of malware including viruses, Trojan horses etc, the malware is setup to load itself into memory when the operating system is started and that makes it much harder to quarantine or delete the offending malware. An Antivirus Rescue disk doesn't work from within the infected system, but is a bootable operating system with the AV software installed so it can scan attached media without booting into the infected operating system. The malware isn't loaded and is much easier to identify and remove. The only issue is that the AV companies have mostly discontinued offering rescue media and haven't been updated or just discontinued. The USB Flash drive that is being offered only includes two AV rescue distributions because they are the only ones that seem to be able to download virus definition updates and work on a flash drive. The distributions both do the same thing and only their interface is different with one being command line only and the other has a graphical interface. The drive also includes the instruction documentation and short videos on how to use the software.
