Description: Antique/Vintage 34" Leg of Mutton Leather Shotgun Gun Case w/ Oval Brass Plate, PAT. Dec. 17,1907 Up for your consideration is a Very Nice Antique/Vintage 34" Leg of Mutton Leather Shotgun Case w/ Oval Brass Plate, PAT. Dec. 17,1907. This case is appx. 116 years of age and is still in very nice usable condition. Per our in-house inspection report there are no known missing, broken, or damaged pieces. Leather surface has the expected wear & minor discoloration of an item of this age, including minor scratching, nicks, and edge wear, but no broken straps, buckles, stitching, etc. Item could definitely be put back into use or displayed depending on your desires. Interior is wool lined with a sleeve for for a cleaning rod, etc. Note - During inspection we found a paper bag that was from a previous owner's Gunslick No. 475-C, 16 GA. Shotgun Cleaning Kit. This will also be included with the case when sold. Measurements - Length 34" X 8" Wide (Measured at Butt End of Case), Barrell End of Case Measures 4" Wide, Case Depth is 33".
