Description: This is a set of antique Yoruba gilded brass beads which were handmade by Yoruba metalsmiths in Nigeria and were collected from Africa. The smaller round granulated beads are in fair condition with some holes in the metal and one bead being a bit squished and some of the granulated decoration missing in places. The larger center bead is in good condition having some missing twisted metal circle decorations and a touch of green patina. The two larger round beads are in fair condition with denting and one bead being squished in and the seem a bit broken. There is also two small half beads on either side of the center bead. This metal bead set's center bead measures 1.45 inches long by 0.44 inches wide. This antique bead set would look great in jewelry applications or would be perfect for adding to any African trade bead collection.
