The words "U.S. DOVER 1942" are pressure stamped across the front, and can be seen in the listing photos. Measuring in at 4.75" tall, and with a diameter of 3.5", this cup is in absolutely wonderful condition. This is especially true when one considers that the few surviving U.S. Dover cups still on the market have holes, cracks, etc. There is a layer of surface corrosion/rust on the cup's interior (refer to listing photos) but the structure of the cup is entirely intact, and the thickness feels normal from top to bottom.
