Description: Welcome to my auction - Up for your consideration is this nice old wooden noisemaker or clacker. Made entirely of wood, no nails only wooden dowels, this great old piece could have been used on a ship as a distress call, during a battle to alert troops on the ground or by early firemen or policemen as an alarm - if only it could talk. It has a turned wood handle, some turning on alarm end, no marks found. It does work and it is quite loud. PLEASE NOTE - I have several primitives I will be listing over the next week or two. I do combine auctions and reduce shipping when ever possible so don't miss out on these great deals! SPECIAL NOTE - Thank you for supporting small business! Please take time to check out my Store Wide Sale going on now! CONDITION - The alarm is in nice, antique, pre-owned condition! Original estate found patina showing normal age/use wear, some finish rub wear, a few little dings. Please see photos as part of description and condition.SIZE - Handle measures approximately 4 3/16" long 1 1/4" wide, alarm is 8" long, 2 1/2" by 1 7/8" across end.
