Description: Antique Late 19th Century Wheelock Peoria Ceramic Round Lidded Serving Dish with Water Lily Motif. Lidded Casserole/ovenware dish with lid. Measures 4 inches in height and 7 inches in diameter. In 1882 George H. Wheelock joined his brother, C.E. Wheelock in business. Soon after George bought his brother’s interest in the business. The company opened a location in Peoria in 1888 and closed in 1909. A beautiful, in excellent condition, casserole with matching lid.
