Description: Antique Weber Costello 18 In World Globe Mahogany Base Bronze Claw Feet 1924. High-end library world globe, 18 inches in diameter, dating to 1920s. Weber Costello Co. This is a very nice globe, probably the best money could buy back in the 1920s. These are incredibly scarce nowadays, and would look perfect in your home library or living room. Condition - VG. There are a few cosmetic flaws which I will identify. I took pictures of each as well. 1) There are a couple of small areas on globe which are damaged (white spots). 2) Where the wooden ring attaches to the bronze circumferential bracket, the wood has separated, or delayered perpendicular to the rotation of the globe Shipping - Due to fragile high value contents, in-person pickup preferred.
