Description: Wow, if this thing could talk! Whatever else this strop is, it's the real deal. Offered is an antique W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. "Broke In" double-sided shell horse hide leather strop, Bradford PA. No Case strops are available here at the moment. This tough and strong strop measures 21 inches overall length (with about 13 inches either side for stroking) and remains very pliable. Leather and stitching are good but leather does show several edge nicks, chiefly on the "finish" side. Strop is without stains or odor, however the chromed metal hardware could use polishing for showing some tarnish and oxidation (see photos). As an antique this strop must be offered "as-is."
