Antique Vtg Art Deco Flush Mount Uranium Glass Mission Tudor 1910s 1920s 1930s

Description: Beautiful Glass Ceiling Fixture Beautiful RESTORED antique condition! A true early fixture from the 1910's to 1930's. New porcelain socket and new wiring added (including a ground wire) - ready to hang and enjoy. She has been cleaned, tested and is working well. The glass shade is the stunner, made of glass that has Uranium in it and glows under a UV / black light. The color of the shade is a butter yellow with tan colored fired painted details. There are no chips or cracks in the glass, and just a few tiny marks here and there from the original glass-making process (see closeups). The brass fixture is in great condition with an antique gold painted finish and just some tiny "dings" that aren't noticed when hung and in use (see closeups). Use one standard-base light bulb up to 60 watts since it's an enclosed fixture - or use an LED bulb for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. The hardware shown is included. Light bulbs and ceiling mount screws not included. Here are details about the restorer: The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #21). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
