Description: Late 19th C. Antique Vintage Wooden Toy Stable Dolls House Building W/ Erzgebirge Animals A superb large wooden stable c. late 19th century with some additions, with a hay rack, dovecote holes to top, top section with hooks for tack, mirrored ‘windows’, Erzgebirge cat stuck to top of stairs, and a loose Erzgebirge bird. Overall height 49.5cm/ 19.5”, width 51cm/ 20”, depth 23cm/ 9”. Fair condition with some marks/ chips/ splits to wood commensurate with age including split to wood on base, banister along top floor incomplete at one end. Signs of old wood worm, can’t see signs of active worm as no loose shavings (but not confirmed as I’m not an expert on this).
