Description: This item is a 43" right-handed original hickory shafted wood. It is a Driver marked Carnoustie Bench Made on the crown. Driver on the sole plate. One of the largest heads you will find. Made by Wilson. Partial brass sole plate. Head is in good vintage condition. Shows the expected play use and wear. Please look at the many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft is the original hickory. Feels like a very stiff flex. It has is straight and I see no cracks. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in poor vintage condition. 8* loft and a C 8 swingweight. Great for display.If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These old wooden shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts or heads against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old wooden shafted wood with a hard range ball.Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge.
