Description: Antique parade flag that reads "Best Leader in Health Parade for 1931". This was around the time of the "Modern Health Crusader" public awareness campaign aimed at preventing tuberculosis, so I assume this parade was part of a similar campaign. The text appears to be painted or dyed, not stitched. Overall length of the banner is about 26" including the fringe. Width of the fabric is about 17.25". The dowel that it is hung from is about 18" wide. Condition is as seen in photos. Fading, yellowing/discoloration, and other wear. Both of the multiclocored strings attached to the dowel have come unwound - one significantly more than the other. One of the pieces of fringe (bottom right corner) has also come unwound. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions. Thanks!!! 105480
