Description: This is a mid century Acoma Pueblo pottery bird basket. It has an interesting handle with a stamped decoration along its double coils. The birds have that worried look, polychrome design includes a bird on each of two sides and a design under each bird head that seems fitting. On the bottom is the original price of 85ยข. 5.25" high, 4.5" bird beak to beak. From my late husband's collection, he collected this at an auction, show or shop in the 1990s.
