Description: Antique Vintage 1940s Black & Blue Silk Chiffon Lace Bias Cut Full Length Gown. This gown is made from a blue acetate material with a black silk overlay. The neckline is backed with a beige chiffon while the sleeves are just the black lace. It comes with a belt made from the same material as the dress. There is a hook & eye closure at the top of the neckline and zippers at the end of each sleeve. There is also a zipper down the left side. A tag is sewn in the interior waist line that reads "Heather Sportswear Shop, Reading, PA" There are holes throughout the lace but most notably at the bottom and on each sleeve in the armpit area. There are holes and staining inside of the interior on the chiffon. This piece is being sold as is and has been priced accordingly. Please be sure to look at all of the photos prior to purchasing!
