Description: I inherited an impressive collection of hatpins, and this listing is for dog lovers. You'll find two entirely different dog hatpins here. There's a metal terrier dog, and an older carved horn greyhound dog. The greyhound hatpin is a rare, sought after piece!! *~THE GREYHOUND DOG IS MISSING AN EYE.~* The greyhound dog hatpin is carved from stag's horn. Other than the missing eye, it appears to be intact but please see photos. These hatpins are sold "as is", and I am definitely not an expert. The greyhound dog measures 3 3/4" long, and the head is a bit larger than 1 1/4"x 1/2". The terrier dog hatpin measures 8 3/4" long, and the dimensions of the head are 1" x 1". This hatpin is in very good condition for the age with no visible flaws. However, the metal is definitely darkened. Brass? To preserve the antique patina, the hatpins have not been cleaned or polished. Feel free to ask any questions. NOTE: Any display pieces are not included.
