Description: c1880 Pattern: wild rose and rope Material: Porcelain Size: 8" long, 7" wide, 4.5" tall Weight: 2 lb 6.8 oz Condition: Great for its age, cracks or chips. There is a spit on the brown "rope" rim that might look like a chip, but it's under the glaze and can not feel a defect. Stamp on bottom is very hard to read but believe is J Holdcroft. The lid showcases sardines surrounded by seaweed. The base is adorned with a blue glaze, small fish motifs, and floral/rose accents. Great for any pottery or serious Majolica collector.
