THE CROWN HAS SATIN RIBBON THAT I PERSONALLY WOULD REMOVE AS IT IS NOT ORIGINAL AND IS MORE 1930’S A JET APPLIQUE IS AT THE CENTER FRONT. THE UNDERSIDE IS COVERED IN ROWS OF TATTING. CONDITION: SOME ABSENCE AND WEAR TO THE STRAW AT THE TOP CROWN THAT COULD EASILY BE HIDDEN BY PLUMES OR TRIMS. I SUSPECT THAT THE TATTING ON THE UNDERSIDE BRIM IS A REPLACEMENT BUT I WOULD KEEP IT INTACT AS IT WAS WELL DONE.
