The taille d'epargne design, in the center of the brooch, which has etched grooves and is filled with black or clear enamel……The bright gold finish beautifully sets off the black enamel design in the center that’s left…….a wonderful example of Victorian taille d'epargne design from the 1800……measures approx 1 3/4” wide and 1/2” tall ….unmarked …..My photos are under flash and natural light ...preloved and in beautiful condition …. AS IS: The Brooch is missing the pinback and clasp, the hinge is still present, where the clasp was the ends are bent and dented….this could be easily restored by someone who knows what they are doing…..
