Description: This is a fernier or jardiniere planter made by the C.F. Monroe Company. This piece is part of the collectible "Wave Crest" line of opaline glass or opal ware, and features embossed details and a painted, muted, pastel fern motif. A brass ring adorns the top of the planter. There are some imperfections in the paint, as portrayed in the photographs.
