Description: Click photos for larger image! Description & Condition: Up for sale is this antique circa 1925 folk art patriotic eagle remembrance embroidery. It was made as a tribute to someones cruise to the Philipine Islands , Hawaii and Japan. There is a red ribbon that reads E Pluribus Unum and eagle is on an American flag . Below reads Hawaii and Japan and in lower center is the ship. The quality of this piece is fantastic. It is in good condition with only some light fraying in lower right flag. It measures 30" by 24" sight size and frame 37 1/2" by 32 1/2". The ship USAT Thomas was built in 1898 and was retired in 1929. It made trips from New York to The Philipines, Hawaii, Guam and Japan from 1919-1928. Please view all the photos and if you have any questions please ask.
