Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This is a rarely seen, ornate Royal Worcester porcelain coffee pot with lid. This pot dates to the 19th century, circa 1893. The body of the pot is finished in the well-known “blush ivory” with the finial, spout, handle and base finished in a soft green. The high points of the mold have been richly gilded to draw the eye. This coffee pot with lid is 9 ½ inches tall including the finial and 7 inches wide including the handle. The mold is just gorgeous and very ornate, with swirling ridged lines, a protruding lower belly, a scrolled handle and a shaped spout. The porcelain is delicate and thin; you can see right through it in a strong light. There are no chips, nicks, cracks or crazing. The gold trim is in excellent condition. The bottom of the pot has been marked with the standard Royal Worcester printed mark of a crown above and Royal Worcester England below. There are two addition dots to date the pot to 1893. Please examine all of the photographs to gain a greater appreciation of this rare and unusual piece and feel free to ask any questions that you may have. This is a very desirable Royal Worcester porcelain coffee pot, offered at a very reasonable price!
