Description: This is what decorative tiles look like before the glaze colors were added, mainly by hand using a squeeze bag for each color. The raised lines establish the pattern and separate the glazes. This vintage tile is in very good condition; minor surface wear; and measures 6" x 6" x 1/2" thick. We're not sure if this was made by American Encaustic Tiling Company or Mosaic Tile Company, both from Zanesville, OH. See our other unglazed tiles.
