Description: Antique Tilt Top Table is a Scalloped Oval Shape. Suitable for Candle Stand Tea Table Wine Side Accent Table Sturdy, well constructed piece. No wobble in base/legs. Top has a slight bit of expected “play” in it where it connects to the pedestal. Queen Anne style with tripod cabriole legs that fit into a turned wood vase shaped pedestal spindle. Exact age is not known. Black metal cleat holds table flat when in use. Four brass flathead screws attach the tabletop to the tilting base. Preowned antique item. Light expected surface wear attributed to age, gentle use and storage. Nothing that detracts from function or beauty. SEE PICS It has a tight split in the wood tabletop at one end attributed to age and drying of the wood over time. It looks like it has been there a long time, is not loose and does not appear to be getting larger. Not noticeable unless looking for it. Doesn’t detract from function or beauty. SEE PICS The scalloped oval tabletop measures approximately 22.75” x 14.25” x .675” thick. The tripod legs span approximately 11.5” in each direction. The height of this table is approximately 21.375” when the top is flat and in use. Overall height when table top is filter vertical is approximately 32.25”. Finished with a reddish, brown stain.
