Description: Antique early 20th century American solid wood tiger oak splat back rocking chair raised on turned spindle legs connected by spindle stretchers for added stability. Having a wonderfully figured wood plank seat which has been shaped and smoothed for comfort. This delightful rocker is more on the petite side and would make a perfect fire side chair or bedroom chair.Dimensions: width 17 1/4", depth 29", seat height 15", back height 35 1/4".Condition: Over all being strong and sturdy with a lovely aged golden oak patina and having minimal age appropriate wear, marks, and imperfections throughout adding authentic old world charm. There is evidence that this piece may have been painted red at some point in it's past and thankfully someone brought it back to life and exposed this stunning tiger oak you see today. I have tried to show as much as possible in the pictures so please zoom in and study them closely and more pictures are available upon request.Item #GY3002
