Starr, New York, the retailer, made of gilt dore bronze and celadon onyx with brown mottling and overall striations, featuring a pouting little Cupid figure with bound hands, his quiver and a pair of doves are the finial, with ornate dore bronze banding and paw footed base, measuring 9-1/2" high, the base 6-3/4" x 6-3/4" including the extended paw feet, condition: as is, we don't know if the clock works, it appears to need a key to wind it at the back, the round onyx part with the clock movement wiggles a bit, needs to be tightened, sold as found, previously owned, from a local estate.
