Antique Studebaker 1931 1930 1929 Dictator Heater Control Valve?

Description: Tagged "’31 Dictater” a control valve of some sorts. I would guess it is a heater control. Marked “switch is bad”. So expect to rebuild. Has sgood spring action on the main arm. The Story: Found parts from an Old Shed Stash. Markings on tags support that these are from the years: 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931 covering President, Commander and Dictator models. Cars long gone. Have tried to ID or describe. Casting numbers noted if found. Some items were tagged and others were marked. You may know exactly what this fits and if you contact me I will update the descriptions.
