Description: This is a lovely antique MINTON majolica STRAWBERRY Plate or serving dish with raised "figural" ripe red Strawberries, bright green leaves and pretty pink blossoms. The plate is shell shaped with a white ground and gold trim with an oval turquoise blue well for Whipped Cream. Made in England. Marks: on the underside - impressed with the maker's name MINTON and the pattern number 1330 - the diamond registration mark - dated April 3rd, 1867, and the Date symbol for the year of manufacture - 1868.
