Description: For sale is an antique straight razor. Here’s what I know about it: Markings: It is marked the fisher for quality. It has a little design of a man holding a fish on the blade, and there is also an inlaid version of this on the handle. It is marked 65. You can lightly read the same logo on the blade… Overall length when in the open position: 9-1/2” Blade sharpness: sharp Handle: handle appears to be Bakelite … Dark ivory color handle. Has silver design inlaid on one side of their Fisher logo. Damage: none observed Condition on a 1 to 10 scale (with 10 being the best): 5 Other comments: there appears to be some sort of a crack up at the top with the blade pivots under the handle… I don’t know if this was repaired or if it is just the way this is… The blade is also lightly loose… That is why I give this a grade of five. There is some light rusting on the backside of the blade. Please refer to the pictures for the actual condition of this item. You are purchasing the exact item in the picture. There are no cases with these razors unless otherwise specified. These straight razors were recently purchased from an estate of a gentleman who passed away a few years ago, and who had collected for over 50 years. He was an avid flea market/auction/garage sale shopper and had accumulated over 100 straight razors in his life. I will be listing these razors over a period of time, and since I am unsure of the value of these… I figured the best thing to do would be to put them all on eBay, individually, and start them all at $19.95 each plus shipping.
