Description: This is a beautiful antique solid sterling Pepperette, made 1901. It is fully hallmarked including the Birmingham assay office stamp (Anchor), the lion passant (sterling silver) and the date letter mark 'b' (1901), along with the manufactures mark 'HM' (Henry Moreton). Both the body and top / lid are hallmarked. It measures approximately 3.7cm tall, with the body measuring 1.9cm in diameter. It weighs 7.4g. The lid can be removed, as shown in one of the photographs. This fabulous antique pepper shaker is in excellent condition. As with all my antique pieces of jewellery, this has not been overly cleaned, maintaining its incredible and natural patina - but of course this can be very easily removed and bought to a bright shine, with silver cleaner, if you would prefer.
