Description: Level came from my father's shed. I wiped it off with a towel but did not do any other cleaning. Level has all 3 bubbles in the tubes, but I don't know if they accurately work as intended and need to be recalibrated. Wood has scratches and discoloration, and has the letters 'XV' marked into the wood on one side, and there are a few spots of what I assume is white paint. The metal plate at the top (maybe brass?) is slightly bent, has light scratches, and 4 of the wood screws at one end just spin in the wood rather than tighten down the plate, and 2 of the screws on the other end are bigger heads, so likely those were replaced. One end of the plate says STANLEY NEW BRITIAN CONN USA (with the 'S' longer than the U and the A), and the other end says No 30 TO ADJUST REMOVE PLATES. Just below that is a patient date, but it is difficult to read. However, I think it says PAT'D 5 - 8 - 06. Both of the round circle plates say STANLEY ADJUSTABLE, and one on the other side says TRADEMARK in the curved groove. Best to view all pictures for overall condition details - ask questions if more information is needed.
