Description: it is an old German solid glass stein with a pewter and porcelain top. The glass is very thick. It weighs over 2 Lbs. Hand painted lady's profile in lid It has 3 seams and thumb nail at the bottom. 8 inches tall including the flip top handle. It is 4inches across the bottom. It is a stein you could use or just set it out for display. There is an etched marking with an L, a line over 2 marks and a comma type mark. Not sure if that was original or added latter.
