Description: Antique early 1900s silk embroidery art of pansies signed C.S. and dated 1905 in original gold gesso frame. 20.5” length and 17.5” width. The embroidered artwork is mounted under glass and features a bouquet of pansy flowers with a purple, orange, green, and white color palette. The antique gilt frame is gold gesso over wood. Good antique condition with surface wear commensurate with age. The fabric has some light staining and some debris under glass. The frame has some small areas wear the gilding has been lifted, and the paper on the back of the mounting has some tears.
