Description: 57 DECORATED PAGES. TWO PAGES ARE BLANK AND ANOTHER HAS SOMETHING OTHER THAN A CHROMOLITHOGRAPH ON IT. THE PAGES ARE 11.5 INCHES TALL. I only mention it because it will help you determine the size of the cards. I believe only two items in this book are not die cut. One is not included in the count of 57 and the other is the last page and is still a chromolithograph - PROBABLY HALF OF THE PAGES ARE EITHER DISCONNECTED FROM THE BOOK OR COMING CLOSE. THE PAGES ALL HAVE CHIPS ON THE EDGES AND MANY HAVE TEARS. NOT EVERY CARD IS CURRENTLY POLITICALLY CORRECT. SEVERAL HAVE SOME FORM OF ADVERTISING ON THE CORNERS OF THE FRONT. I CAN'T SEE THE BACKS SO I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS ANY ADVERTISING THERE. - PHOTOS PROVIDE IMAGES OF 45 OF THE 57 PAGES SO YOU GET THE HINT. There are ridiculously fragile on the edges. I would not be surprised if you experienced a small storm of paper bits every time you open the book. -The inside cover reads 1900 but I am pretty sure that many of these are from years quite a bit earlier. Just for the record, the owner grew up to fight in WWI in France for two years and made it home in one piece.
