Please also see all the photographs as they make up a large part of the description. This is a beautiful antique Scottish Mauchline Ware small pot with a transfer image of birds on a branch. The treen trinket box is made of pale varnished wood and dates back to the Victorian era (1850-1899). It is an original piece measuring 5 cm in height and 4 cm in diameter , may have been used for sewing , it has a hole in its side that doesn't go all the way through , not sure if it was a natural knot in the wood or served some purpose. .
