Description: Antique American Historical Bunker Hill Flint Glass Cup Plate, made by Boston and Sandwich Glass Co. to commemorate the American Revolution. Embossed with words "Corner Stone Laid by LaFayette, June 17, 1825, Finished by the Ladies 1841, Bunker Hill Battle Fought June 17, 1775, From the Fair to the Brave". Great Preowned Condition with No cracks or signs of repair. It's hard to find an antique cup plate without chips around the edges. This plate has a few fleabite size chips seen with a loop, but hardly noticeable with the naked eye. From early manufacture, the glass has are few air bubbles and straw lines.
