Description: Up for sale is a Gorgeous Antique Hand Blown Ruby Red Bohemian Gothic Style Mug. Circa 1850s-1860s. The mug features an absolutely beautiful shape/form in a gorgeous ruby red color with a nice hand painted ornate gothic style gilt decoration and an applied handle. The base of the mug features a rough pontil scar and imperfection. This mug was made in the Czech Republic in the 1850s-1860s. There are typical manufacturing imperfections in the form of bubbles, waves, and bumps. There is an imperfection just below the lip on the inside that appears as a scratch but is from the manufacturing of the mug. There is minor wear to the gold gilt and typical base wear as seen in the photos. Otherwise the piece is in great condition with no cracks, chips or bruises. Overall the mug still displays beautifully. Measurements are approximately:4" Tall.3 9/16" Rim Diameter.4 1/8" From Rim to end of Handle.2 3/4" Wide Body.2 1/2" Base.
