Description: This lovely antique c.1916 Roseville Pottery early Mostique vase was designed by Harry Rhead and features a highly textured surface with a tan wash over the natural clay and glossy black, red, brown and olive green glazed geometric designs. The inside has a glossy olive green glaze with some crazing. It measures approximately 6" high by 3" top diameter (2 3/4" bottom diameter). It's unmarked except for some pencil marks on the bottom and is in excellent condition. Wear is consistent with age - clean with no chips. cracks or repairs, except for one tiny "flea bite" on the inside of the top rim. Mold seam marks are visible on either side. Please examine the photos carefully and ask any questions prior to bidding/buying. I'm happy to answer any questions and provide additional photos on request. Included are expert packing and USPS Priority Mail insured shipping to the US (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and protectorates). Note: Please understand that the price reflects not only the value of the item, but also my expenses which include my cost for it, eBay fees, packing and shipping. I take packing very seriously and pack very well. In my many years of selling fragile antique/vintage/contemporary collectibles, I've never had a shipment damaged in transit due to insufficient packing.
