Description: antique Robert Schwartz Bros. gooseneck lamp. This lamp has been gone through with all the skill and knowledge i have. The gooseneck is still tight and flexible.. in other words it’ll bend the way you want and stay there. It’s equipped with a period socket shell, with a 1950’s dimmer switch. It operates perfectly, in fact the last 4 photos hopefully will show it does.. now I’m fairly certain you’ll need a bulb made for dimming. It has New wiring. It’s a really nice little functional lamp, and I hope what you consider a fairly well done paint scheme.. I tried to use a neutral color so it might blend in with whatever your color scheme in whichever room you place it. I’ll be honest, I’m charging more for the dimmer switch. The true vintage ones are fairly scarce. The two last photos that seem Out of place, the one that’s framed, it’s a side of a 20’s oil can that had been placed on the bottom, and the person I bought the lamp from obviously didn’t know it was there, it was put on so expertly it amazed me, you can see what the can would’ve looked like before being cut. The colors are still as bright as they were, I’m sure not long after manufacturing of the can. I just thought that’d be a neat little piece of information.
