Description: Authentic london phone booth. This was brought to the US from london by a customs employee that moved back to the united states. These are so heavy (aprox. 1,500 lbs) it would cost a fortune. This customs employee was moved back to the US and was lucky she didn't pay ,her employer moved her. Not to many of these are in the US because of the shipping costs , and at some point the queen had put restrictions on them being shipped out to other countries due to there archaic nature. The phone booth is constructed of cast iron and glass panels, the door is hardwood and frequently missing, this one is still intact. Please note at the bottom on one side is broken off ,they originally had a concrete pad and when removed frequently a piece of the cast iron would break off. As l know from personal experience this will be a conversation starter at family get togethers, parties etc. As tall as it is l have had neighbors ask about it. People love taking pictures with it. Be advised l will not help move it , you will need to hire a crane svc to pick it up and over the wall as l did when l brought it home.
